Hayley Williams
tiny energetic fireball
with a heart of gold
is there to mend you
with her words so bold
-
‘you’re part of our family,’
she tells the crowd;
‘and once you’re in,
you’re never getting out.’
-
can’t you see
that she wants us to know
these people on the street
are fighting battles of their own?
-
‘you matter,’ she screams,
‘not just another extra in a movie,’
and you know she means
every word she’s ever said,
and you’ll never have to worry
about being left for dead
with a heart of gold
is there to mend you
with her words so bold
-
‘you’re part of our family,’
she tells the crowd;
‘and once you’re in,
you’re never getting out.’
-
can’t you see
that she wants us to know
these people on the street
are fighting battles of their own?
-
‘you matter,’ she screams,
‘not just another extra in a movie,’
and you know she means
every word she’s ever said,
and you’ll never have to worry
about being left for dead

My paper's gonna argue that band members do more than produce the music you listen to out of boredom; they help you pass the time, heal your wounds and define you as person. also this might not be the final draft; i'll probably update it at some point soon.
