The Unrelenting Laughter

Sounds of laughter,
As I hit the ground,
A thousand feet under,

Hardly breathing,
Broken and bruised,
The embarrassment,

I see almost all black,
Just a tiny dot of light,
Encircled with the laughter,

My mind is bent,
The wires are snapping apart,
And my mechanisms are going haywire,

Breath slower,
Inhale less,
Shorter with each grasp and blow,

Limbs piercing,
Flesh peeled,
Blood pouring,

My black soul,
Departs,
Far down below the conscious universe,

Eaten by demons,
Devoured by hate, hopelessness, helplessness,
With only one sound in my head,
The unrelenting laughter,
