The Pain That Lays Over

The first thing on my mind was the pain
But what is left when the pain has gone
Is it just an emptiness to gain
Is life really just such a cheap pawn

Under the layers of pain was an abundance of love
But it was lost because of what’s above

On the second though I screamed out in anger
What do I do now that my heart feels like a child of a massacre
Alone under hate for others
Never thought of as lover by the others

In rain I cry
So as not to be noticed aw I wish no other wishes to die
Under this pain lays a heart made of gold
But is it to break the through the cold

Under the layers of pain was in abundance of love
But it was lost because of what’s above

The room is a city
Giving me the same amount of love
Without the hate of some group or committee
An opportunity to escape the through me away with a gentle shove

Under the layers of pain was an abundance of love
But it was lost because of what’s above
