Not A Trace (It's A Beautiful Place)

It's a beautiful place, it's a beautiful place
There's not a trace of injustice in the air
There's not a trace of a heart with a tare
To only come back once a year brings a tear to my eyes
I'll always miss the pretty skies
The leaves and trees, they're never gonna lie
Bring you down and leave you with a sigh
This road may be bumpy
A lump in your throat
Gotta wear a coat in the winter
Sometimes in life you'll be struggling with a splinter
This beautiful place, this beautiful place
There's not a trace of sorrow in the air
There's not a trace of a heart with a tare
I’ll see you there, I’ll see you there
Deep down in the forest lost in the night
Good shall come, good shall come
Never lose hope, oh please never lose hope!
This life, these trails, never are they easy to hail from
But the sum of all the love we have
Shall support you through the night
Together we fight, together we fight
This beautiful place, oh this beautiful place
There's not a trace

This song/poem is about a very special place to my heart, a camp in Laytonville California called Camp Winnarainbow. I've been going there for the past 9 years and it is heaven on earth, the place to be where you will always have family. This song was sung by my friend Rose who sung it beautifully, it sums up my feelings about the camp.
