Revolt

You think you're the queen, the American dream
Truth is, you're a fend, the pain in my spleen
The taste of your power is rotten and sour
Your highness you devour
All the peasants, sucking up giving you presents
But you're the dent in the law
Chopping all with a saw
I aught to crack your jaw
You think you're gonna keep the crown
But a hero's gonna come and take you down
Dig you deep in the ground
100 years from now
Hey, look what I found!
You think you're doing what's right
Despite the fact that we're starving
Carving our hate for you in stone
Such a shame someone like you owns the thrown
This is a rant! Because we know if we defy you
We'll be squished like an ant!
So we're marching on the streets, cold in bear feet
You won't accept defeat, good thing we're not asking
you're safe because your gaurds'll grab anyone who's got the gall the stab
You can't hide forever! You'll soon be gone, it's for the better
You've neglected, infected but haven't corrected
We're here to tell you that you've been rejected
So put on your coat before we slit your throat
And don't come back till the day that you're willing to hear what we have to say

I wrote this in Global history class when we learned about the french revolution and I just thought of all of the evil queens in fairy tales and in real life and this is an issue that must be stood up against!
