Ticking of a Clock

I find the ticking of a clock to be peaceful.

Not only does it represent the time that has passed in our lives but also the time we have left.

Even after the heart has stopped the clock is still going.

Even if the battery dies the clock of eternity still ticks.

Time will go on even though we lose others or even ourselves.

The world will go on.

It might get better but the clock will always tick.

It might get worse but the clock will always tick.

The clock will always tick.

There is not stopping the clock. It will always continue...
