Saved Me

My body enveloped in red
As the thoughts spiral in my head.
Should I go?
Should I stay?
What will happen?
If I go away?
Chances in life diminished for good?
They would.

Away from me, if I left tonight.
If I left this earth, left it out of my sight.
What will change?
Will it be an exchange?
Of my life, my love, would it fit?
Well...what's left of it.

Into the memories of those I left behind
Stuck forever inside their minds.
Of a boy who searched for meaning of some kind
Yet none of which he could find.
If I left this world, what would happen?
If I suddenly went forever nappin'?

I think of my love, and decide to stay.
To keep my sadness at bay.
I'd leave everything behind to keep her happy,
For her soul is pure and never snappy.
Her elegance, so majestic and true,
The gentle way she says "I love you."

Is enough to restore my faith
Just by staring at her face.

My scars vanish, my tears are gone
After these months of deafening screams and agonizing horrors...she's my dawn.
The sun that filled the dark's presence with light,
Her love so bright.
Such a love thats exciting and pure,
Any pain for her I'd endure.

Her love a veil of enclosed white
Lighting up my world, once void of light.
Her love so warm I forget the cold and I drop the knife.
She saved my life.
