I Once Was a Dreamer

Colors swirl in front of me
The entire world, just begging me to see.
I travel to places so far away
A different country every day
All I would have to do is close my eyes
I would be there faster than any plane flies.
Soon reality started to set in
I came to realize the good guys don't always win.
The more I realized the world's just a mess
My nightly travels became less and less
I had no time for childish games
No more trips on imaginary planes
My night's became empty and black
Color and imagination they began to lack
The real world finally got to me
He world was no longer there for me to are
