Vow

Vow

I vow never again to allow my heart to show
because you continue to give it a shove then a throw
into the blackened dirt
you really think that I would be hurt
by a complete and utter fool
ooh my gosh yup I think that's you
you steal my time with your lies
and then many years go by
but we are total strangers
lost in a decietful web of danger
no sex, or forbiddent lust
just a pile of ashes and dust
we had nothing from the start
you're an actor, and you played your part
stabbed my heart
with a poisonous dart
Dam your full of Shhh, I mean full of "it"
you and your filthy mouth are a perfect fit
I never should have believed you
I guess that makes me the fool
I should have seen right through
You are Pinocchio and dam your nose grew
It grew and it grew like a branch of a tree
you heart breaker wouldn't you agree?
you look so pitiful to me now
I promise never to speak to you, this is my solemn vow

ALl or well most of the romantic poems you see are not based on a physical attachment I have or had with a guy, but more so an emotional attachment.
