Changing People and Meaning of Friendship

We all breathe the same air,
Taking hold of each breath,
This life has given us,
Living our lives,
Loving family,
Loving friends.

However things change,
The people,
Who you thought was there,
Saying they'll be there,
Through thick and thin,
Show their true colours.

They look at you like your dirt,
They bully you because of your scars,
Scars of your life,
They tell you to kill yourself,
Call you faggot,
Emo,
Start hating you for your,
Music,
Fashion.

Leave you in a corner,
To waste away.

I have one thing to say,
Be proud of your scars,
Your scars show your strong,
Your a fighter,
Listen to your music loud,
Dress in the clothes you want,

As there are genuine people,
Out there,
True friends,
Who will fight with you,
Will always ask how was your day,
Share their life stories,
Their fights they have fought.

If people chose to hurt you,
If you forgive them,
Then great,
If they continue to hurt you,
Get them out your life,
If they were your true friends,
They would ask you,
What is wrong when they know,
Something isn't right,
More importantly they wouldn't hurt you.
