I saw a flash of flames burning underwater
I saw burning pain take the best of a man
I saw him breaking down in front of my eyes
He’s dealing with loss in his signature pattern

And then I saw him and his fire inside
He’s got more in him than the rest of us combined
He’s fierce and relentless and has a pure heart
The pureness in him does not reach his mind

He makes his mistakes, he has many flaws
Perfection in him shows in the way he stands
