The Forest
One dark and cold,
Frostbitten night.
I saw the forest,
Come alight.
Bright and shiny,
Did it glow,
Letting out secrets,
No one should know.
The trees whispered,
Among each other.
Their limbs shaking;
Birds' wings were aflutter.
Swaying along,
With the wind,
To their song,
Of enchantment.
Frostbitten night.
I saw the forest,
Come alight.
Bright and shiny,
Did it glow,
Letting out secrets,
No one should know.
The trees whispered,
Among each other.
Their limbs shaking;
Birds' wings were aflutter.
Swaying along,
With the wind,
To their song,
Of enchantment.
