Uncertainty

I point my sword at the world,
Bitter sweet and clear.
The struggle between us is dark,
Light can barely be found.

Emotionless face, agile hands,
Numb to the touch of this battlefield.
Always alone, always fighting everything,
How could one win again and again.

Rain and snow force their way,
Hard to see or keep yourself at bay.
Yet the sword keeps swinging,
Billions of foes just waiting.

No matter how much blood be spilled,
Emotionless I must be to keep this life and shield.
An endless battle to wear thee down,
Surrender or fight, now where lies the crown.

To drift off into god knows where,
Or to cling onto life and be made to bare.
Light envelope me, darkness consume me,
However, let me, be me.
