The Becoming

I am becoming uncomposed
From the supposed doctrines
I've put my thoughts in
And getting lost in
The unknown,
Letting go of what's been shown,
And like a stone
Falling away from the mundane
And the plain
Vain
Motions that form
Our norm
Of day in and day out,
Forgetting doubt
And becoming undone,
Fading and becoming one
As You fill my lungs.
I breathe You in,
Feeling You settle across my skin,
Bringing an end
To the battle within.
I feel Your fingertips through my hair
And without a care
I soar through open air
And just stare
Blankly as I become the wind
And ascend
Into You forevermore.
