Warmth

Colored lights,
Dancing in unison,
Entrancing as their
Procession of beauty
Is displayed,
Laid down at a time
Like this.
The sun reveals
Through the veils
We dance with,
And I can see the
Child smile,
Her innocent eyes
A softening red upon
The soul,
The breezes in the valley
Surrounding and rustling
The hair of this child as she
Rests beneath sheets of white,
A bed laid upon the ground.
Simple but comforting
As this shoulder holds
The cheek of innocence,
Allowing the sleep to come
To dreaming eyes,
