My Center, My Peace

I thought I needed no one,
I thought I could stick it out,
All on my own.
But...

But now I really see,
I see that I need someone.
Someone to hold my hand,
Someone to pull me up.

I could feel like death,
I could feel cold,
Like a body with no soul,
Or someone with out purpose.

But you never let me stay there,
In that dark part of me.
You hold out your hand,
And try the best you can.

All that you can,
To make it right,
To help me find it,
Find again that light.

My special reason,
My only purpose.
The tape on my heart,
So it never breaks apart.

Without you now I know,
I would never be able to go.
Anywhere,
Do anything..

My love,
A best friend,
The special someone,
The center of my universe...

Now I truly know,
I'd be no one without you...
