Little Red Bird

Little Red Bird, Little Red Bird,
Perched on the sill infront of me,
Why do you sing so sweetly, so ever sweetly to me?

Little Red Bird, Litttle Red Bird,
Cupped between my palms,
Squeesed in my grasp,
Why do you still sing so sweetly, so ever sweetly to me?

Little Red Bird, Little Red Bird,
Locked away in a small cage,
Far away from your dear blue sky,
Why do you still sing so sweetly, so ever sweetly to me?

Little Red Bird, Little Red Bird,
Thrusted into a dark drawer,
Hidden from the dawn you once loved,
Why do you still sing so sweetly, so ever sweetly to me?

Little Red Bird, Little Red Bird,
Bruised in one eye,
Missing some feathers that once alowed you to fly,
Why do you still sing so sweetly, so ever sweetly to me?

Little Red Bird, Little Red Bird,
I've let you go once again,
Back to the pals you once lost,
And the breeze you had missed,
Why do you still come back and sing so sweetly, so ever sweetly to me?

I made this poem a long time ago. I like it because has innocent words with a very lively and strong meaning. As far as the meaning goes, Ill let the poem tell you for its self :). Sorry for any miss spelling. It's my first poem on Mibba, so be brutal! Cant get better without critizism :p
