The Bannings

Once upon a time,
On a normal night,
A debate broke out
On this wonderful site.

It started with a blog
About abortion or shaming.
But it doesn't matter now,
There's no point in blaming.

The comments took off!
The opinions were split!
Leaving staff to realize
They were in some deep shit.

Names were called
And some people felt broken.
It all made me wonder,
"What are these people smokin'?"

"You're making no sense!"
"At least I'm not a whore!
You probably go 'round town,
from door to door to door!"

Once there lacked reason,
And people started bashing,
The Admins took action
When Mibbians started clashing.

Audrey, Nicole, and Katie
Put an end to the affair.
They handed out warnings,
So they'd be more aware.

It was peaceful for a while
as the site became calm,
though after another blog
I began to facepalm.

With no tolerance for bashing,
The Admins had to ban.
The users thought instead that
It was some kind of master plan.

"The Admins aren't human!
They just beep and they boop!"
"They're robots with no soul!
They think we're all poop!"

There used to be warnings,
But some people didn't care.
So staff then took them out,
To see if more would dare.

And dare they did as chaos reigns,
For people get banned even still today.
You'd best watch out since "nobody's safe"
Or you might be next to be on your way.

Can I just say,
This is getting out of hand?
If someone breaks a rule,
They're going to get banned.

The past's in the past,
Let's leave it at that.
Nothing's changing because users
Need someone to yell at.

I'll remind you of Mean Girls,
Just so I can be sappy.
