I had a dream the other day.
I dreamt that I was flying.
Flying like a bird you'd say.
You might think that I'm lying.

I had a dream the other night.
I dreamt that I was singing.
Singing like a siren maid.
Oh men's hearts I was ensnaring.

I'll have a dream in future years.
I'll dream that I am drawing.
Drawing all my faults I've made.
My hardened heart breaking.

I'll wake up from a dream someday.
A dream that I am falling.
Falling through my life again.
That's when I'll know I'm dying.

I'll fall into a dream one day.
A dream where I am happy.
Happy that I know this way.
This time I won't be waking.
