A Rest from a Girl

Two as one
The curse-ed twins
A fate much worse than death;
Hear the cry within the night
Lost souls to them are found;
But without the other
They are useless and bound,
Standing on two feet a pain;
The blood lust eyes
The brandished sword
A game to them is played;
It reals them in
And caresses the skin,
A yearning that seeks an end;
Power sleeps within
Quenched by loving hands,
A beast tamed;
Sanity never felt such bliss,
In the debt of a girl
Gratitude is limitless,
With the loss of the weaker,
A gentle touch is required;
There is a home awaiting
Calling him back
A feeling he's never known,
Blossoming inside
Do not run and hide,
For thankfulness is fleeting;
A hunger driven beast
Brought low by another
A love sealed forever,
Thanks to the girl, a rest.
