Drug Induced Psychosis

No one knows what I’m doing to myself nor would anyone care
That’s the thing when you have a problem
No one wants to know you when life’s unfair

My friends they are frugal when they see them eyes
No serotonin between synapses is palpable, there’s no disguise
Everyone identifies pain through ones eyes
My eyes the starting gun, for them all to vaporize
What can you do when nothing seems to familiarize

I’m flushing 3 quarter pound down the Toilet
2 sip from being alcoholic
Knife in one hand 5 iron in another
Chasing dancing masked clad ghouls
But they keep escaping my lure
Can’t trust anyone even my “friends”
Pseudo enemies paying me back cent by cent
I wish I was never born, when will I end?

A pre-meditated plan that brought a knife to my hand
As the pyramids that stand on top of the sand
In the heat of the moment, like Farrakhan said
We need atonement, but there’s
No Windows, no doors, delusions don’t creep out
Induced by all that crank sprinkled with endos
Bombed and smoked out them vehicles
Concreted in a tomb, I’m a locked away
Sadness always about, all that’s left is to throw it away

When it’s my turn to speak
My mind is empty
When it’s my turn to listen
My mind is racing
Haphazard thoughts
Prevent me from understanding
The perspectives and opinions
Of the people that surround me

Levy, rope and Stool
Position, tie, jump!
Off with the Jugulars fuel
No more will this incessant pain
Flow to my brain
The end of a seemingly
Eternal reign

A currently unfinished story I turned into a poem for Mibba Magazine's Poetic Connections' Contest.
http://www.mibba.com/Forums/Topic/183988/Mibba-Magazines-Poetic-Connections-Contest

At the beginning of the story and poem, Del feels alone and alienated, no one wants to be around the character when he is depressed, so he uses more drugs and eventually goes nuts. Del flushes all his drugs, chases imaginary spies, ghouls and robbers and prays for an escape or death.

*crank= meth
*endo= marijuana cigarette
*Farrakhan= Muslim leader in the U.S. From the same branch as Malcolm X
