“Monsters in My Mind”
In the dark something’s lurking
Around the room my eyes are jerking
The closet is where my eyes chose to stay
From my closet comes the smell
Of moldy food and slug like gel
That runs across the floor in bright blue stripes
A creature with glowing eyes
Stares at me with my demise
Clearly written on its gruesome face
I’m alone in this dark room
With no help here comes my doom
A waiting me I just can’t seem to think
The one way out is through my door
But fear awaits me on the floor
Because of the beast under my bed
Now I know I’m not alone
There are 3 more beasts; I hear them grown
There is nowhere to go that’s safe
