Death Games

And now I'm chained to the walls,
by the lies I've spewed.
Only I knew the truth,
but still we feud.

My thoughts no longer my own,
They intertwine with yours.
You read my like a book,
as I lie broken on the floor.

You knew from the beginning,
but led me to believe
that I was in control.
Master of this game.

You knew all along,
that you were just a pawn.
You gave me power,
and waited until dawn.

But now I'm shackled.
The truth being my demise.
Tricked like a fool.
I wait for you to rise.

You lie broken and bleeding,
in that sad wooden box.
Your heart had stopped beating.
You have the key to the locks.

Bound to you forever,
through life and now in death.
I can still smell the sweetness
of your final, gentle breath.

Now guilt is on my conscience
as I watch you fall into the ground.
6 feet below me,
You don't make a sound.

You've taken control,
now I'm just your pawn.
The roles have reversed.
but now you're gone.
