Frozen

Freeze my soul with your icy glare,
Watch as my heart shatters from the stare.

Where has the warmth faded to?

No more warmth can be found,
In those haunting depths.

It feels as if I am forever drowning in frozen water.

The breath has been taken from my lungs.

The only warmth that can be felt is only just a mirage,
From which my mind is showing me.

It's just a deceit…

I am lost and just float here,
Drifting to and fro,
Cocooned in unbreakable ice.
