Brotherly Love

Oh the woes of brotherly love.

How deep does your anger flow?

Would you kill the reflection you see everyday?

Do you hate yourself that much?

So different and yet,
Completely the same.
Why do you fight against yourself,
With such hate and animosity?

When will you see?

That the person you wish to kill,
Is your own reflection?

Will you shatter the mirror?

Just because the reflection,
Your reflection,
Is the same as someone else's?

Why do you hate him so much?

Does the word "brothers" mean anything to you?

Or have you convinced yourself,
That he doesn't exist anymore,
That he is just a phantom,
Just a past memory,
That you wish to forget?

Can you truly rid yourself of him?

He is a part of you,
The lost half of your soul.
Would you truly be whole,
If he were gone forever?

You say, things would be better,
If he were never there,
But is that really the truth?

Can you actually survive,
If he didn't exist?

Don't you know,
Two halves make a whole.
