Ransacked Ruins

There once was a castle
And it twas be
Finer than fine
Than splendor can see
The princes', how noble
The princess', how dashing
The elegance of all
Twas but beauty outlasting
O, the balls they haled
The dinners, how merry
No one would deny
It a divine, nary
But out of the east
Came unsuspecting to them
An army of thousands
To lie down their heads
They took the princess', how beauty they be
And slain all the princes', the noble tis see
The castle they burned
A black patch on the ground
And now they are ruins
