Imagination Hell
I imagine this is what hell feels like.
It’s personal to the victim, is it not?
If yes, then my hell is your charmers smile,
A smile I had almost forgot.
I imagine the demons are cutting me
with jagged claws and teeth.
They’re burning me to the ground,
with fire, on me they breathe.
I imagine the pain is excruciating,
but I am too numb to feel.
Dear demons, slash open my chest.
My heart feels like lead, unreal.
I imagine the devil is laughing,
for I’m too broken now to fight.
I died and came to the fires,
And their flames outshined my light.
I imagine she is dancing in the ashes.
Those ashes were once me.
She spins and kicks and sings and twirls,
She knows my souls not free.
I imagine this is what hell feels like,
even if it’s just inside my head.
I’m alive, I’m breathing, my hearts still beating,
My hell is I’m not dead.
It’s personal to the victim, is it not?
If yes, then my hell is your charmers smile,
A smile I had almost forgot.
I imagine the demons are cutting me
with jagged claws and teeth.
They’re burning me to the ground,
