Tragically Beautiful

My Angel’s tears have convinced me,
Pain is our deepest beauty,
Vulnerability our greatest strength,
Tears our most natural
Expression of love.

When our fears are realized,
Our souls are baptized by fire,
And our hearts cleansed of joy.

In this moment, we glimpse eternity,
And we turn back,
Because it is too much to bear.

Beauty is eternal, and eternity is tragic.
