Silent Beast

She is a silent beast
One who creeps and crawls
One who searches for her next feast

You couldn't get noticed so you tried something new
No one cares unless you're dying
So you're dying on the inside

It's just the slip of the tongue
The lies you told and all the words you sung
You take a breath and the air felt raw to your lungs

You're breaking yourself but you love it
As you bleed and scream at the girl in the mirror

You cry as your heart breaks
A beast that is trying to awake
Don't let it catch you smiling
Just sew the mouth and fake

You scream
"God, I'm ruining my life!"
But you don't have a life
I guess that's why you like a knife
Take it to your skin and end your life
