Tomorrow, When the World Is Gone

One day, we'll look back
At what once was.
We'll wonder what had happened
And where the happiness had gone.

We'll remember it like this,
Beautiful and lush.
So perfect and so seamless
when the world is gone.

Society was angry,
Corrupted and unjust.
It was a never ending riot
All civility was lost.

War raged through the lands
Tearing it apart.
People killing people,
The most devastating part.

We destroy what we love,
and we so love the Earth.
I'll remember her like this,
Tomorrow when the world is gone.
