Stones

They dragged me out of pleasure
From a devious trap they'd set for me
They exclaimed how they had caught me
Depriving me of dignity

Yes I was a courtesan
They'd tasted my talent too
But then those wretches turned the tables
... And to think i'd trusted them too

They said it was out of virtue
But i know "virtue" is not that harsh
They tortured me terribly
Demons they were!
They had no heart

Then my knight in shining armour
A God you might have said
Rescued me from my peril,
Faced them and shook his head

In the dust he wrote my language
He searched deep into my soul
He look into my eyes
And through his, my life story was told

He looked again on my accusers,
Warned then and sent them away
They never cast an eye on me again
After that memorable day

I still remember what he told them
He had asked them if they had never sinned
They thought
Then they left me
They pondered on the evil they were doing

But, I know thy still hold their grudges
Heavy stones carried in their hearts
And they won't hesitated to throw them
At the next courtesan to cross their paths

A courtesan is a prostitute by the way... just in case anyone was wondering
