For You Are the World
With every teardrop you cry, the entire world dies.
Salt and makeup pouring down your face
I'd save it all, I'd take you over the entire human race.
Because when I see you cry I am reminded,
Of all of those times I spent blinded.
You were there for me, I wasn't there for you.
Now every single heartbeat aches.
And every breath for you is what I take.
You're fragile, broken, and battered.
And the past doesn't even matter.
So dry those tears up so that I can find some sleep
And dry them up so you can be at peace.

Yeah this was on here before, then I took it off. I have a lot of poems that were once on here and I think I'm going to start posting them back on here again.
