Jan. 11, 2014 - Love

I tried to draw your curves
and ended up falling in love with you all over
again,
remember your edges and imperfections in
my grasp and I began to melt
away,
I remember the soft skin you had when I ran my
hands up and down your back and arms,
Your little curve in your lips when you
smiled my way,
The way your hair fell over your face,
Or the way your cheeks brightened when you were
flustered,
The way your light blue eyes sparkled when you lit a cigarette
or when you laughed,
The night you told me you hated how you looked but
I couldn't stop staring at you, at the way you looked at everything,
the way you thought,
the way you pouted or even when you cried,
I thought you were so beautiful to me, no matter what you did or
said,
I'd place my hands on your waist and feel the way your tummy moved
when you inhaled and exhaled,
the way you spoke my name sounded as if an angel were speaking,
I remember you falling asleep and I couldn't, I watched the way your chest fell
and rose, the way you tossed and turned and pulled on the covers,
the way I saw your eyes flutter open at 9am with a mess of hair,
the way I kissed you good morning.
I could never stop loving you, you're ever lasting beautiful and I wish you
saw what I saw.
I see more than beauty.
I see only you.
