The Shadow Man

The man in the closet.
The being of filthy darkness.
Lurking in the blurry spots.
Watching as you try to sleep.
Hide under the covers, you may be safe from his glare.
As he munches on your fear.
Try and forget and try to ignore, but he'll still be there.
Drinking away your happiness.
Sipping at your sanity.
As the dread boils you from the inside.
Be brave and stand your ground, less he take you into the unseen.
