Tables Turning Around

You never were that strong,
you only know how to be wrong.
I can't even think of when you treated me nice,
now all you do is play with old dice.

I want for once to make you pay,
I want to have the last say.
I should have known you were the boss of a biker gang,
for a while you've beeen biting me with your silver fang.

You always enjoyed good fights,
now it was time to turn on the lights.
You irritate the hell out of me, every now and then,
your attitude makes me, your bones wanna bend.

At the end of the day I always ask you favors,
there's nowhere else to look for saviours.
I'm getting drunk on this bittersweet love,
yet from all of you, I had to be above.

It's strange how the tables are turning around,
they don't even make a sound.
What's the matter?
Do I seem like I've lost my mad hatter?

He's deep in my heart somewhere,
but really, he can be anywhere.
He will be found when he wants to be found,
to this little, black heart of mine, forever you'll be bound.

This is basically about when the roles in a relationship with the boss of a biker gang are reversed. I started writing this for my co-written story Chaotic Demons for which I haven't even written a chapter yet (and I know I should get to it). Somewhere along the way as I was writing, my emotions kinda changed from something that happened so the half of it doesn't really fit the story, but oh well, that's what my mind came up with. I hope you enjoy it! -Marian.
