Is Honesty the Best Policy?

An honest man once told me.
That's how the story usually goes.
But ask yourself how much do we really see.
How honest can you really be?

Now I'm going to ask you to think deeply within oneself
Raise your hand if you lied.
However, white or tradeout not right.

White- lies to be the worst
Cause you can tell so many of them and add up then you burst
We thirst.
For acceptance.
We lie we cheat we steal.
Just to be somewhat of a social ladder.
I ask you is it a big deal.

We search for acceptance but later on As for repentance
We live in a Cruel society.
And we only try to show our best positive side forward.
On the outside.
But it's the True us is deep within us walked away through pain and torture.
We lie to keep our
Bad situations in the past
For them not to see the light of day again
For people not to see the old you but the new you.
So ask you once more is honesty the best policy.
