Death's Guessing Game

In life we're all so different
Not one of us the same
But in death there is no upperhand
We all face a guessing game

You're born
You start breathing and crying
Then the clock starts ticking
And you've started dying

You know what to expect in life
Go to school , get a job , retire
You know the world is ruled by money
And its beholders desire

You know that the sun will set
And that the moon will rise
The stars will twinkle
In the night skies

You know some will receive
Everything they need
And others who are less unfortunate
Roam the streets and plead

With death we hold no knowledge
No guide to show us the way
We will all be treated equally
Every person , every day

There are people
Who seek to find
What comes after death
Whether its mean or kind

But in death there is no upperhand
We all face a guessing game
We'll all enter the unknown
Being treated the same
