Under the Rainbow

Under the rainbow
Elora Todd

Under the rainbow the leprechauns hunt.
Way down low beneath the starving donkeys, and past the dying elephants,
Under the rainbow the leprechauns hunt.
Hunt the little white fillies that have not yet started to grow their ivory,
Under the rainbow where the leprechauns hunt.

Under the rainbow the leprechauns hunt.
Way down low beneath the withering zebras, and the writhing giraffes,
Under the rainbow the leprechauns hunt.
Hunt the little blue fauns that have not yet started to grow their fur,
Under the rainbow where the leprechauns hunt.

Under the rainbow the leprechauns hunt.
Way down low beneath the orphan chimps, and the mourning joeys,
Under the rainbow the leprechauns hunt.
Hunt the little maroon birds that have not yet started to set fire,
Under the rainbow where the leprechauns hunt.

Under the rainbow the leprechauns hunt.
Way down low beneath the featherless pigeons, and the meaningless lions,
Under the rainbow the leprechauns hunt.
Hunt the little green lizards that have not yet started to soar,
Under the rainbow where the leprechauns hunt.

Under the rainbow the leprechauns are hunted.
Way down low beneath the convalescing rhinos, and the vital hyenas
Under the rainbow the leprechauns are hunted.
Hunted by the mothers of the little fillies, fauns, birds, and lizards,
Under the rainbow where the leprechauns are hunted.
