A Secret Place
Take me to a secret place.
Where there are no tears to fall down my face.
I don't need perfect I just need hope,
It's getting hard and harder to balance upon this rope.
Take me to a place where I cannot wallow,
I'm tired of drowning alone in my sorrow.
I don't need much I just need a hand,
Someone to hold me, to help me stand.
Take me to a place where there is no darkness,
Where there is no anger and nothing is hopeless.
I don't want the world, I just want to smile.
Please help me finally feel that I'm worthwhile.
Take me to a place, we can call our own.
Where all our pain and fears are overthrown.
You'll have me and I'll have you,
Together we can finally begin to start anew.
