Civil War

They teach us in history
That a civil war is when a country is fighting against itself.
While some other countries watch,
Some don't notice at all
That this nation is falling apart from the inside out.
When one party loathes the other,
They will both crumble unless one takes over.
And you'd better hope it's the right one.
They say that civil wars are the bloodiest
Because the only way to get inside
Is to be apart of it.
And no one wants to be a part of a war.
In case you haven't noticed
I'm not talking about history anymore.
CUT! RECOVERY! DRUGS! GRADES! ALCOHOL! RIOT! SUICIDE!
My mind is waging a war on itself
On what action my body should take
And no one is winning.
No one is taking over.
So all of me will fall.
