The Scene They'll Never Know

Loneliness and sorrow are all she knows,
Sorrow and pain she tries to show,
She watches as if behind fogged glass,
Thoughts running wild for all to see,
All the things she’ll never be,
Lost in a haze of darkness and light,
She’s not invisible or out of sight,
But holding tight she’ll never let go,
For in the darkness the light will show,
No one out there seems to know,
The loneliness and sorrow she’s betrothed.

This is a sadish poem, there is not a happy ending. Please don't take anything in this poem to heart. I was actually going to end it on a happy note but I didn't think my poem prompt would go well with a happy ending.
