Chill

Cold,
So much so her teeth chatter,
Lost in a whirl of white,
Snow covers her like an icy blanket,
Lost and alone cold in the unknown,
All hope leaves with the sun light,
She falls to her knees and looks up at the sky,
As she prays and hopes for a quick demise,
A light appears from no where,
It grows closer as she accepts her fate,
This is my ending so cold and alone,
Months will pass and no one will know,
Maybe they'll find me frozen to the bone,
The light floats near getting bigger and brighter,
Slowly she must be going mad,
Words of strangers float in her head,
I wonder if I'm hearing the dead,
She soon realizes that the words in her ears,
Are from a man at least twice her years,
Go back you can not stay you will not die this day,
The light grows closer and then disappears,
In its place a torch appears,
Lady Fate had her way and the woman was saved today,
She had yet to marry and become a mother,
And because of fate shes found love in another.

As the description says, this poem makes no sense. It rhymes and doesn't in different parts. I have no clue where my head was going with this.

This was written for the April's Poem Prompt Challenge.
