The Hunt

Some creatures take drastic measures to survive
They hunt, gather, pollute
But what good is harming another creature?

We hunt each other without thought
Striking at the weakest
Some may bleed
Others can deal

Yet the inside has scars from the hunt
The predator claws at its prey
Leaving wounds that aren't visible
And they hurt a majority of the time

Why do these creatures harm such things?
Why are they not stopped?
Why is the lion allowed to keep chasing the gazelle?
Because this creature is human and is stubborn
