True Love

The room dark, no light no sound.
I hear death as it comes for me, calling my name.
I try to follow, I try to answer the call.
Something stops me,
Love comes a whisper to my heart.
I drop my blade, I drop the tears.
My heart in half.
So many questions, only one truth.
Love came the beat of my heart.
My blood pumping, my noose slowly untying.
The pounding in my head, the thing called fear.
My murderer staring at me through the mirror.
She hands me the pills, she tells me its ok.
My shaking hand drops them, my heart thudding, screaming.
The wind brushing my face as I gape at the ground 50 stories below.
You grab my hand, pulled me close..
True love, you whispered, as you pulled me off my ledge.
