Plastic Melts Eventually

Plastic Melts Eventually

Plastic faces & makeup covered lies everywhere I turn;
I just can’t wait to watch you burn.
You say you’re real & I’m just a fake;
Not sure how much more of this I can take.
You said you’d be there, you promised to be true;
I need someone to turn to, but who?
It’s certainly not you since you betrayed my trust;
Now our friendship is only collecting rust.
Sitting on the sidelines waiting for someone new;
You & I are done. You & I are through.
It’s people like you that make me sick;
It’s people like you that have that tick.
You’re broken & empty inside with scars left to show;
Where will you end up when you have nowhere else to go?
I hate your face & I hate your voice;
Ending our friendship was no choice.
You threw it away like it was a pop can;
& For this I cannot stand.
