Inside Me

look inside this hole so black.
see the light flicker on and off.
watch as it goes from bright to dim.

inside me resides that same hole with that same switch.
but instead of light winning it is the darkness.
a shame the poor light must die the moment it comes to be.

gentle music comes from the lit up black hole.
within my hole comes the sound of silence.
in a hole so dark the only sound you hear is the beat of you heart.
