Human (RE: Angel)

With a heart marred in scars
And a soul squeezed too tight
You've not escaped the bars
Of a prison that you cannot see.

You're hopes you see as roasted
You're words oversaid
The ones you love most
You think they want you dead.

But if only you knew!
If only you could see
That behind these prison bars
With yours, their hearts do scream.

Parents are the only human beings
That would ever be satisfied
To give you their night's meal
So that you would be satisfied.

They raise you and pay for
Everything more than you need
And in their hearts they know
With your success is theirs.

Even though it's hard, you promised yourself to get better
You need to recall that you're only human
Start with small steps, you know, a smile here and there.
And soon you will be laughing and encompass warmth and care!

Parents have their rights, especially your mother
Who gave birth to you and helped you in a pure innocent state
Both of your parents raised you for you to succeed
No matter if they say it aloud, you know they have no greed.

A million children are orphans,
They live on their own
Their bellies are starving
And God made it so you are not alone.

We all have a purpose,
We need to stop despairing and begin searching ourselves
Just embrace that we need to do good and learn the truth
And God will take care of the rest.

One piece of advice that I truly want to share
Is that you should read and read and read.
At times the most caring friend can be a book
A friend, a special close friend, we meet through the pages.
