Dreams Come True

I use to be shy and so polite and so anxious to be free. I use to think the world never turned but, now I can see.
There's so much out there waiting for me.
So much out there, you won't believe.
Dreams can come true and mine will too.
I can spread my wings and soar, right out that open door.

I use to want to crawl in bed and hide under the sheets.
Now that I'm in open air, It's time to be seen.
I couldn't wait for the future and I couldn't wait to show I'm bigger now.

I'm finally going to be on top of the world can't you see?
This is my dream.
I wanna make music and help make others smile.
I wanna hand out drinks and socialize for a while.

Life doesn't give you everything so it's up to you to make your dreams come true.
I finally got to see that underneath it all, I can be what I can dream and dreamings what I'll do.
