Ordinary Girl

She was an ordinary girl,
Lost inside another world.

She was a sweet one,
She needn't have won.

But she did win this game,
Now, she's lost her name.

Ordinary girl made a mistake,
She burnt herself at the stake.

Angel let him rip her apart,
The demon within her heart.

She let him eat away her soul,
Stealing her ability to console.

Ordinary girl let herself go,
Let herself fall forevermore.

Little demon let her waste away,
Yet she stayed by him every day.

Tears ran down her face,
She lost her little grace,
Only known as a disgrace,
Losing this sudden race.

She didn't expect this,
The loss of pure bliss.

She didn't expect him,
To have her world dim.

She believed it was love,
Written in the stars above.

Ordinary girl was wrong,
She wasn't ever strong.

Maybe she was strong inside,
But ordinary girl would hide.

Maybe she wasn't ordinary,
She maybe was extraordinary.

Maybe she was neither,
Yet demon would mither.

And Angel would give in,
Committing another sin.

No matter, no problem,
She'd already lost them.

Who cares if she died?
If she was lost inside.

How could she confide?
When she'd often lied.

Ordinary girl was afraid,
But her bed was laid,
She had to prepare herself,
Regardless of poor health.

This angel was already fallen,
But she was always mauling.

Deciding what to erase,
This wasn't any faze.

She was lost in her mind,
Her sanity began to unwind.

Her senses became blind,
But never would she mind.

She let herself fall,
Yet she seemed tall.

She let herself cry,
Never would she try.

Ordinary girl,
Lost in her world.

It could've happened to anyone,
How she felt so cold and alone.

How she never saw a light,
Why she belonged to night.

It could've happened to you,
Everything she went through.

It was a curse unknown,
A demon calling home.

A girl, forever alone,
Feeling so forlorn.

Ordinary girl wasn't cold,
Yet neither was she bold.

Ordinary girl was lost inside,
In a world where she'd tried,
Yet she had sinned and lied,
How could she ever feel pride?

Ordinary girl had a kind heart,
Which is why she broke apart.

Which is also why she'll restart,
How she'll mend each little part.

She was her own worse friend,
Broke herself till the end,
But now, it really is the final,
She'll no longer live in denial.

Ordinary girl now beams,
She follows her dreams.

Ordinary girl is now free,
Ordinary girl is you and me.

She lives in us all,
The girl who'll fall,
The smile that'll lie,
The tears that cry.

The laugh faked,
Make-up caked,
She's why we try,
And why we cry.

She is our heart,
And our inner soul.

Tearing us apart,
Then making us whole.

She is the ordinary girl,
Who braved this world.

We are above ordinary,
We are extraordinary.

We are beautiful,
In our own way.

We are wonderful,
From day to day.

We are her,
We do care.

We are love,
Stars up above.

Skies that shine,
And those blue beams,
Are yours and mine,
They are our dreams.

Tonight we'll sleep,
Digging deep,
Into this heart inside,
Bound together, tied.

We are the ordinary girl,
Living in a strange world.

And tonight is when we're free,
For I have you and you have me...
