Aurora Borealis in Disguise

In the darkness of my life,
When the stars were dim
And the clouds rolled in,
I found my days were full of strife.

Weeks and months would pass on by,
My thoughts drifting far
As I prayed for a shooting star;
You were mine to glorify.

But once you did appear,
You blew up my skies;
The Aurora Borealis in disguise.
My heart was yours to pioneer.
